The owners could not have been more helpful or friendly. There where so many lovely touches. The fresh home made bread, the bowl of fruit, the bowl of sweets, the flowers, the fridge had a bottle of good quality white wine, butter, eggs. The cottage is very well equipped and spotlesly clean. I would recommend this cottage to everybody Skye is such a beautiful island and the weather was fantastic.

The cottage has stunning views and is very clean and well presented. The owners provided a lovely warm welcome and lots of added extras on arrival. Everything we needed, and more, was provided in the cottage.

I would certainly recommend this cottage to everyone. We have had 12 cottages on Skye, and this was by far the most outstanding. The warm welcome of the owners, Lovely welcome pack and beautiful cottage and surrounding were immaculate.

The cottage is well appointed, cozy and has a spectacular view. The owners were welcoming and provided many extra amenities which made our stay very special.

Our first visit to Skye, and it was hard to imagine a nicer place to stay than Skylarks Cottage. The sunsets were absolutely fabulous and the cottage is an ideal centre for travelling round. Also the friendliness of Janet and David and the welcome they gave was second to none.

Have just returned from a fantastic few days in Skye. Skylark Cottage is everything I'd hoped for and more. The owners could not have made us more welcome, and their cottage is the best equipped self catering accommodation I've experienced anywhere in the world. Already looking forward to our next trip!

Lovely welcome, beautiful cottage, fantastic scenery. The walk to Broadford via Waterloo is very nice. We saw 1 otter, 2 sea eagles, buzzards and seals. Enjoyed exploring the island.

What a fantastic welcome from the owners. Couldn't believe our eyes when we found the homemade bread-lovely! Have enjoyed Skye and surrounding mainland - Glenelg was gorgeous had a great feast in the pub there.
